PAD - Day 36

Today I walked outside after another wonderful rain, and saw this beautiful sunset.  I grabbed the camera and worked with the settings to capture the scene correctly.  My only post-processing was a slight tweak to the Brightness/Contrast to bring the colors to an accurate tone.

The weather has been rather dry around here lately so you can understand how delighted we were to receive a heavy rain today!  I decided to try a similar concept to Day 22 by freezing the motion of a drop of water.

Today I decided to walk around our yard and try to capture commonplace scenes in an interesting way.  This photo is of some scrap lumber and a building project.  I was quite happy with the lighting and composition,  but I wanted to portray more of a dusty, construction site feel, so I went into Photoshop and worked with the color until I achieved what I wanted.
